  • Minor canopy repairs help

I've repaired my T600n after stacking it the other week, but now I'm at the stage of trying to repair the canopy, which I've never done before.

The fibre glass inside the canopy is sound, I have three small 'mark of Zorro' cracks/breaks to the outside paintwork. The biggest being 6cm long by about 1cm wide.

What should I fill/repair these with. It's purely cosmetic with two in the black windshield area & a tiny one under the nose.

    Any advice appreciated.

To be honest I think most would leave it and keep it as the flight canopy. It will get damaged more and more as time goes on. But you could use some modelling filler but one with a bit of flex to it to stop it cracking when you remove to canopy etc. Then paint in the areas.

Before you fill the spiders grind the loose gel coat off with a dremmel or the fillter will just lift with the vibration.
