Also, I've looked at this in another way. If we all got our kits from HK etc., then the guys we trust to supply our spares ( Fast Lads, Midland, etc.,) go out of business, we are truly screwed!!

I doubt that very much. After you have a couple of crashes multiplied by all the other owners of the same model and the spares costs well exceeds the price of selling just a kit.

In one season we had a guy at our club have 11 crashes. He must of paid the equivalent of 4 kits in spare parts.

Still playing around with the TZ for now so have plenty to do, well bar the fact now i think i have it all ready to go at full fitness, so trying to resist much longer might be hard
