Just been looking around at the 600le prices, Cheapest is from HK from a shop where ive bought before ,everything inc engine except rx...£538.... does this sound good or has anyone herd of cheaper!!

Depends what you get with this HK deal I guess. I doubt you'll get an OS55, you'll probably the Hyper .50 which is not that great (well, I found it awful).

The hyper is an awesome engine, for yrs it has been top of the tree in 50 engines. Only replaced recently with the arrival of 55/56 sized engines!

Yeah I think it's a bit unfair to call it 'not that great' just because a newer version came out a month ago. As Darryl says, it was probably considered the best 50 heli engine by many people for quite some time.

I tried it and wasn't fond of it at all. Kept bogging down my 600 LE during elev and aileron tick tocks. Sure, my collective management could always be better but when I stuck the OS55 in there, well, no more bogging! Okay, so the Hyper .50 might be good but the OS55 is way better. Felt like I was flying my 700.

Fingers crossed you won't get hit with customs. I've bought about 20 or so heli's from China and only one (TRex 250) got stopped in customs. I always asked for EMS shipping and it seemed to work.
