  • Trex 600 tracking

    ive had my 600 nitro for 2 years now and just this weekend, i was flying it, just hovering after hard 3d and the tracking went about 4cm out, i also was just about to take off at one point, just coming into the governer and it did the same thing, its hapened in hard 3d but has then gone back to normal,

    its really starting to p**s me off now

    can anyone help

    shot dampners ?? bent feathering shaft .?? bent control rod .. check the usual stuff first

      only crashed the model once and it had all new shafts, new links, the dampers were checked after it did it the first time, also greased

        so ya kept the same dampners from the crash then ?? ....I would change them first as its sound like they frigged.. oh sorry see that ya changed them ... what blades you using ????

          Have you checked all the control balls on the head/swash servo arms etc..
          Happened on my 450 recently, and one of the control balls was working itself loose.

            Hi

            Buggered thrust bearings, mixing arm about the fall off or crap blades are the number one causes.

            You can't tell the thrusts are bad until the take them out and clean them and check the centre part for balls falling out or the balls over running the retainer!

              i changed the dampers when it crashed, the blades are bbt thunder tiger 600mm carbons, the thing is, its only started doing it now after 5 months of flying after the crash, the thrust bearing are sweet when i looked at the weekend, all balls are screwed in alright

                What blades are you using, I have had problems with Torsions and someone in the club has just had a problem with the wood cored Align D's
