Cheap 700 LE

Just having a hunt around for 700 LE prices, and come across this:-

That at todays exchange rate is £337.26 +£48.45 p&p

= £385.71

FL price today is: £589.99

That is £204.28 cheaper!

(just seen this is without blades, and FL has blades, so £70 off that price, still £135ish cheaper)

Or you can buy an LE including electronics, engine, pipe and Align starter (inc. Lipo) for $1,250 -probably about a third cheaper than buying in the UK.

From the USA though who are known for getting caught up with import duty.

But a great price if you can get away with it!

I'm sure you could do better than that seen it's Christmas etc.

I bought a T Rex 700 in from HK awhile back £345 posted payment by PP EMS post ( Fast post ) they even marked the value down so didn't get hit by duty etc.

From the USA though who are known for getting caught up with import duty.

But a great price if you can get away with it!

I'm off to the USA in June next year. Long way off yet, but may look out for a bargain or 2. Be nice if the exchange rate goes up again to what it was a couple of years ago.

You will get hit if your getting it marked as $90 gift,with Duty Tax if your item's value inc postage costs go over £36 in total.

All this info is on the customs web site and rates for importing goods in if your declaring values.

I used a shop off of e/bay who had 700 kits up for £420 posted , i contact them though e/bay asking for a better deal shipped to the UK by EMS posted via Royal Mail only not DHL etc as they tend to do people for duty

Plus they will have to mark the item as a gift at a low value i think i said $35.

I said payment would be via pay pal and i gave them a e/mail address to contact me on.

Off hand i can't remember which store i used I'll try dig the info out, i will say I've done a number of transactions this way though E/bay and had good results and savings with them all.

It's really down to which one from HK is doing the best deals on e/bay at the mo and have good feedback as alot of them have normal stores also, but give better deals on e/bay

I forgot to say its best to use a e/mail address thats not linked to your e/bay account.

Try an eBay seller called puma19850612. He's had some seriously good offers recently -spoke with him via email and he said he could do it even cheaper if not bought via eBay. He had reasonable feedback and I'm almost certain he's legit but in the end I ordered from Flying Hobby (who are already ridiculously cheap) as I didn't want to chance it just to save a few extra quid.

That's the one I mentioned earlier in this thread -don't forget that one actually includes an Align starter -Bargain! Shame they only put that deal up the day after I bought mine though.
