  • Align switch mount for 600

    Hi Guys,
has anybody had any problems putting the carbon switch mount on the left side of the 600? It looks like it's going to be close to the muffler? I'm going use an ElyQ regulator and remote switch. I can't put the switch mount on the right side of the heli as I'm going to use the mixture servo mount.

I had to put mine there, because the right side was needed for the mixture servo. No problems.

I too have mine on that side, for that same reason as Copermanic, but I've also cut a hole in my canopy to get to it. . . . . . . because I got fed up B-B-Qing my pinkies on the pipe, or mislaying the looooong screwdriver I was using to reach it.

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

Thanks for your replies, I'll leave the switch mount where it is for now then, I did consider putting a pin switch on the heli but I'm not sure if it'd work with my ElyQ regulator.

I used double sided tape to hold a switch on the forward gyro tray. The switch is easily accessable through the gap in the canopy where the starter shaft goes.

Its a shame Align haven't thought of a better idea to mount a switch, as loads of people use the mixture control now.

EVO Andy - dont suppose youve got any piccys of how you attached your switch have you??

There are a pair of alternative switch mounting positions in the centre of the main frames. I use the one on the opposite side to the muffler.

I stuck mine on the front of the radio tray using sticky back velco. Poke finger up through the bottom of the canopy to operate.
