Regulator or Lipo?

Just mainden my second 600 but after doing a range check it looked like the lipo was flat only 1 red led.
changed to a different lipo and no problems did 3 flights
Got home to charge up First lipo took 110 millamps so is it the lipo or regulator? still charging second lipo but is my normal one so I know thats good.

yup good call paul
lipos degrade with the chill factor.
the second lipo may well have been a bit warmer
& able to put out a few more mah's

will be the lipo Paul, i have one that will only last 2 flights even though it charges fine, luckaly same as you i have a spare

Agreed, it will most likely be the cold.

I use a thick foam lined ammo tin to store my own personal lipos and in the winter when at the field I put in a couple of those hand warmer sticks you get from camping shops in the tin. It just adds that little bit of warmth and helps with the performance.

Thanks maxpoly Do you sell uprated rx batteries for a 600.
if so do they come with the correct plugs to fit the regulator?

I will be looking to see what is best later too.

At the moment I have the lipo on discharge only at .3 of a amp it's doing ok at the moment

Had 2 flights with 2in1 yesterday,9min a piece 545mah back in today.

I think you are better off using a few small(1900-2200mah) lipos for the day.This way you can keep em in your pocket till you need them

No brainer to the OP,if you feel it could take down say a £700 model..replace it

Discharged it for 2 hours at .3 amp which took 600 milliamps out
then charged it and it took 631 milliamps
what do you all think try it in the model or not?
