  • T rex 600 Le build question

    Hi starter to build my t rex 600 le today frame went together ok and so did the tail. iam have a issue with the head the wash out block gets stiffer as it moves up the pins to the top so tight that when up the top you have to give it a tug to get it to move
    has any body had the problem

    sounds to me like the pics may have got slightly ben and are gripping the washout block

      I think Tony means the washout pins that fit the bottom of the headblock Steve.

      I had this with one of my 700's and it did the same.

      Any chance you have forced them at sometime in the build and slightly bent them.??

      Hope not because these are not replaceable, I found a long drill bit the correct diameter and cut it to length to replace mine.

      Hope this helps if this is the cause.

        havan't bent them they were like that striaght out of the packet

          hi i know this sound very silly but this happend on mine i never had to bend anything i just turned it round half turn and that sorted it i dont know how this worked but it did just try it see if it works for you.

            If that was the case the block may have a slight miss alignment in the drilling & machine slotting of the block turning it around will work if slightly out.
            Could be they were machined on the same machine & it has a centreing issue i reckon.

              Steve that was quite a common with the Trex 600N when it first hit these shores and reversing the washout cured the problem

                had a good look at the wash out block today.tried turning 180 no good
                but when i losened and removed the bolt it worked fine, did noticed that the bolt would not push through the head and the main shaft ,you had to screw it in and thats when the wash out block gets tight
                so i rilled out the hole in the main shaft now works great

                thanks for your help boys always gets sorted in the end
