  • What are you thoughts on this guys

Morning all, another great weather day in North Wales if you are a duck

I was sent this link a couple of days ago and only opened it, just now and was wondering if you've heard of anyone having this problem over here ? or your thoughts on this incident..

    Well found!

I shall be keeping a close eye on mine which are stock with the kit.

They have had 15 or so flights so far also with some fairly aggressive tic tocs and loading and are fine so far.

Wonder if any UK pilots have experienced any probs with the 690's.

I do like the way they fly.... as said on the attached thread they are really poppy and don't load the head easy

There must be thousands of sets out there though. I wouldn't be too stressed about sticking with them until solid proof of poor production across the whole lot is proved.

Sounds like either a dodgy batch to me or another issue altogether,

Of course i will be spitting bricks if mine lets go now though!!!!

As it's an le theres only 2000 kits ever going to be out there, but the blades are a stock item & would imagine thousands are out there already.
If this is the only incident then thats a very low percentage of risk that yours may also go the same way so I wouldnt worry in the slightest.
Always a good practice though to check your blades before a flight.
A carefull twisting force will soon let you know if the leading or trailing edge is liable to opening up.

Never had any problems here using the Align 690D's

              Typical Rimryder crowd though.

A couple have trouble so lets scare the whole world.
