What do you guys reckon to the Align 2in1? Have heard good and bad stories, and don't really have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to electronics. What about the Fromeco Arizona and pin switch? One guy recommended a Switchglo, but that and the Arizona would seem expensive to me.....

I am using one on my 600N and it seems ok, it has been on the model for about a year now. I had one ages ago and the glow stopped working after a couple of months. This was due to a wire coming loose in the switch unit.
I have used the flighttech regs in the past and these have been reliable and are not too expensive.

Snag is, my current convoluted system works OK, and as one says "if it ain't broken....etc". But it is a messy setup and I feel I could do better, but there again, if I mess with it, I could end up screwing it up. The 2in1 seems like the ideal option, if it is reliable enough. But I like the Arizona regulator and its safety pin.

first aligns had issue with nitro effecting the switch.Shrinkwrapped switch newer ones are have a plastic cover which myself have no problems at all with.
I did change power/glow leads for silicon (tri-rated) cable and little longer.
A side from that there good.
Theres a copy of it at hobbyking

I use these in all my Nitros.
I did have a switch go on an earlier model but that was down to getting fuel in it.
They work really well IMO and are fuss free to use.
I would say to use the LED system with caution, especially if using different RX packs.

I think they're great for the convenience. One thing to watch though is the rainbow coloured ribbon cable as the insulation is quite thin and can easily be damaged if it's rubbing against the frame -It's possible to unplug the cable and put some protective braiding on it which I would recommend doing.

No probs here,
Got the old version on my Rappy for about 18 months now and the newer version from the super pro kit with the 600. Not flown the 700 yet, but will be fitting the supplied one to it
Thanks, Chris

No problems here, although I did mount the switch under the nose on the Trex 600 to keep it away from fuel. Going to try a Switchglo on the 700 though!Shaun.
