Need os55 Power.....

Yep has to be done need some of that os55 power so im collecting it Saterday from Skyline Models I will have to use the stock pipe but reading forums seems its work well with it.

Good shout on the OS55, I love it!

Align pipe seems to work fine on mine.

Both ChrisB and myself from DHMC have the 55. Chris is using the Align pipe from his 50 and i am using an Hatori 522. No problems with these two pipes and both perform well.

When you have run it in, you will find that you will have your needles set pretty much exactly the same as a Hyper 50. Both mine and Chris have High/Mid range needles at 1 1/4 turns out.

With two 55's set pretty much the same and perfoming well it should be pretty much the settings you will end up with.

I am no 3D expert by a long shot, and my aggressive use of the Collective (in other words poor collective management) i could bog the Hyper 50 quite nicely... but cant get anywhere near bogging the 55! Its a whole lotta fun when you have tuned!

Fast Lads have knocked it down to £189.99 now so the others should follow suit.

Kessock Models are still cheapest though.

As Aidi has said,i am 1 and a quarter turns open on mid and high end using 30% and it seems sweet.

Plenty of power there just hope these rear bearings are better.

Unsure what to do really.. With this sh@tty weather I end up looking at my helis seeing what I can sell off them. So far I have thought about selling the 600 to go 90, selling the gallon old 50 Hyper to go 55....

Wouldnt have this problem if I was actualy flying today instead!

Picked os55 up yesterday" fitting the engine this afternoon & run her up weather permitting.

I put my 55 in the vibe yesterday.
It's sitting on the living room table ready to go.
Cant even run it up though due to the weather here.
Next chance i will get is next saturday.

I hope the bearings are better I just put the 55 rear one in my 50 hyper.
Yes it is a different bearing to the 50 and has metal cage is also made by skf.
