    Hi guys

    Currently putting together my 700 LE (early Xmas present) and all is going well, until now;
    I have 4 spacers different sizes that are to be used on the main mast to take out any play.

    According to the manual, we should use the 1mm, but I have no room for even the thinnest spacer (no play at all) once everything is bolted !

    Have I missed something here ?

    Thanks guys

    No, not missed anything.
    You might need zero or more of those spacers at initial build (as you have found, you need zero) - but over time, you might find it develops a little play as things wear, and using a shim then will help.

      Rob answered this one already.

      Funny you mention that because only last night I fitted a thicker shim to mine after the heli has got bedded in.

      Easy job and keep your eye on it, It will develope a little lift over time.

        When i looked over Marks he didn't need to fit spacers from new, but as everything beds in, that might change

              I did find on the shaft im using a little. I suppose you would call it buring on the bottom of the ring around the shaft which I cleaned off and flattened out before I put the shaft into the machine, It could be that wearing to some extent as the shaft settles into place.

                  I helped setup my mates 600LE at the weekend and test flew it for him, that was very nice they look the part and the head was very solid dont know how it will be after some use but it felt very nice, so im assuming the 700 is going to be just as good or even better, good luck with the build
