  • Electronics mounting in a 700

How have people fitted the electronics in their models. I'm trying to find the best way to cram it all in. Any pics would be good.

    Cheers

Hardly 'crammed' in. There's loads of room.

The only bit you can't see is the Duralite regulator, which is on the little shelf just above the throttle servo.

Basically I have the Receiver velcro'd to the shelf above the throttle servo, the battery velcro'd to the top shelf, the Gyro on the Gyro shelf, the governor velcro'd inside the servoframe cavity on the right hand side, The Satellite velcroed to the front of the servo tray and the regulator/2 in 1 velcro'd underneath the bottom of the servo tray.

It all fits quite nicely Sorry about the crappy iphone pics...

You cant see it on the pics as it aint fitted but i strap my Outrage 5000mah RX lipo underneath the whole tray. Using the bottom slots in the tray too thread the velcroe through and attach it.

It loathes me to say it, (cause he will gloat) but if Downdraught posts a few pics of his setup you will see how neat it can be. I am using a GY611 so have additional equipment to mount, but the rest fits OK.

One of the dearer sets as fast lads do a cheap version but the Li ron ones looks the nuts

Their a Liron screw set. The only place you can't use them is on the rear holes of the main bearing blocks as the arms catch.

I found this out long ago and its well worth noting.

                              Good point.
