Liking the 700LE

First proper outing today and really enjoyed putting this heli through my (basic) routine Met up with Adrian for a sneaky mid week session and managed 4 tanks on it before the clouds got very dark!

Was a bit cold and there was a stiff breeze from right to left which was a pain put the 700 inspires loads of confidence and i was happy to really chuck it around which up to now has been a bit nerve racking with the SG for fear of binning it!!

Its not as locked in and precise as the SG but feels light and nimble. The 690D's supplied are really good and feel poppy and responsive. The heli looks really nice in the air and a full fastner check back home has produced no issues

Really impressed, although i had no doubts i'd love it as thousands have before me

This really is a superb package for anyone wanting a 90. With all the gear minus engine, pipe and RX its unbeatable! all good kit too and nothing really to ditch in favour of upgrades IMO.

It was fun and we must get out again soon.... we will keep an eye out for some calmer weather

Your Freya feels nice now with the softer tail too, bit less wind and we can enjoy the flying more!

Glad you got out today Guys, the weekend was a bit of a right off.
Shame i couldn't make it but i have been stuck in meetings all day.
Lets just hope the weekend is kind and we manage a proper outing on sunday.

The 700 is awesome Mark (took you long enough to see the light!). Glad you like it bud. We must arrange a get together soon for another session of 'gentle encouragement' (egging-on in other words!).

On a serious note make sure you locktight the sh!t out of the boom support bolts as they have a habit of coming loose.

Believe you and me, That is one problem Marks helis will never suffer from, he uses locktight at the same rate i use optifuel

And now i am a 450 pro owner, some serious 450 egging on is needed, how low can you go......lol

Yep i'm keeping an eye on the boom supports and bolts have been "soaked" in loktite! LOL

It does fly great..... sounds looooverly too when you give it stick

I love how the LE looks,i was even thinking about LE'ing my 600 so it matches my 700 but just priced up all the head parts and canopy and your looking at £230 and thats from the states! so i might just have the canopy for now!

Having seen Tim's I still think that I may have to re-visit align models.
