  • T-Rex 600 NSP / Outrage .50 flybarless head conversion

    Hello,

I'm in the middle of converting my T-Rex 600 NSP with the Outrage flybarless head.

I noticed that it will sit about 10 mm (1/2 inch) lower than before, since the head is shorter.
Has anybody heard of boomstrike problems? I did some quick search with google - there are other people who have done the mod and seem to be happy, and no sign of boomstrikes.

The stock NSP head is good for el-cheapo 620 blades with soft dampers. I fly stiff and heavy 600 blades with hard dampers. Probably it won't be a problem.
Anyway, any feedback would be more than welcome - I have had already my fair share of mid-air boomstrikes...
