Header tank with exhaust back pressure - fuel magnets do not like exhaust gasses and I've never seemed able to get back to the pits and refuel to get the gasses out without something stopping me.

So, no magnets on exhaust back pressure systems for me

    Cheers,

always had header tanks, never tried the fuel magnets. the thought of them falling apart and getting into the supply puts me off a little.
          All the best

            Header tank for me

They make sense and wouldn't run without one. Marting you will need one soon, if you have half a tank of fuel and do a loop, when at the top of the loop, your clunk wont be submerged in any fuel = no fuel to the engine.

Depends on the motor. YS91SR in my 700 so I can run a fuel magnet without the exhaust gases eating the foam as the tank is pressurised from the crankcase. I keep the tank full when not in use to stop the foam perishing. Header tank is probably the best way to go though. I will get round to fitting one eventually.

Headers and Bubbleless Clunks on both 600 & 700.

I did have fuel magnets on both (the 700 really needed it due to the fuel frothing from the YS crankcase pressure input) but changed to headers when one of the magnets started to fall to bits and block the fuel filter....
