  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhh !!!

What the fcuk were Align thinking when they designed the govenor sensor bracket on the 700. I have spent an hour trying to wrestle 1 back in after removing my sensor to check as it wasn't reading. I have just got it back in again and now I can't adj the fcuking thing down onto the clutch bell, as its still not reading, so it must be slightly to high....

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGH !!!!!!

At least on the raptor i can get at it and adj as necessary very easily!!!

    This is not my night!

Not so easy on the 700 though, I right royal pain in the arse I must agree.

So much so that I fitted the Spektrum crank sensor to the backplate on my MultiGovPro to ease the pain.

          i have 2 raptors actually..

until you have seen the 700 positioning etc you won't understand just how awkward it is.

If it gets that bad you could turn it in to a electric one

i'm trying to fit a rev lock 20... to say its a disaster is an under estimation.

I have had to say that enough for tonight as i'm losing the plot here!

I think in the morning I'll make myself a bracket using 1 of the 50 size sensor carriers. Dril myself a couple holes in the frame and that'll be that.

Fitted a revlock to mine, complete pain, but as most things, its easy when you know how.

Darryl have you got the Synergy bracket? Apparently there is a video which Finless has done that shows how to fit it to a 500, same principle though.

there is an easier fix folks and credit goes to the kid frankie for it. drill a hole through the clutch bell bearing block and fit an align plastic hexagonal tail case spacer with a screw to hold it on. heatsink the sensor to it and bingo. yer off. i have both my 700's like this and it's 100x easier/better than the crappy std setup. my revlokcs actually wouldn't work with the std setup. the angle of the sensor with the std bracket didn't work at all.

                            get these-
