  • TREX 700 Head

Starting building my LE but I've hit a stumbling block with the very first page of instructions!!! It shows spindle bearing spacers between the thrust bearing and the radial bearing in each grip... fine no problems. Thing is in the very next step it shows the same two spacers being used between the damper and the blade grip.

I only have two spacers in the relevant bags not the required 4 as shown. Am I reading the instructions wrong or am I short??? Or are there only supposed to be 2 meaning the drawings are wrong??? If this is the case where do the spacers go!?

    Cheers Darryl

Are the part numbers the same?
I would have thought the bearing spacer (inside the grip between radial bearing and thrust race) would be narrower [ID to OD size] than the spacer that fits on the spindle between the grip and the damper?

        Cheers,

thanks for all the answers guys... I have to hold my hands up here and admit to a stupid moment. I dropped 1 of the spacers and it split into 2, how embarrassing is that!

more pics as I continue the build

sorry for the trex newbie questions but does the nipple ontop of the tank connect tot the nipple on the muffler to provide pressure? Not the clearest in the instructions as I can't find anything on it

If you are having issues with the instruction manual which is not the greatest go to HF and get Bobs vid on the 700. They spot on.

                        That head looks very nice
