            And a new canopy
Saw the boxes up on the shelf in the hobby hangar yesterday and they do look good, will be a superb buy for someone without a 50 or 90 size already as bar engine, pipe and rx, you have everything else

It looks a very nicely engineered bit of kit , Bling Bling . But i have one big concern , if theres only 2000 of these world wide how many Dealers will keep spares in stock , there could be as few as a couple of hundred in the UK , and i wonder logisticaly and financialy whether it will be worth holding stock that you may , or may never sell . Look at how hard it was to get spares for the 450 Pro when that launched , and theres probably thousands of those in the UK now . I think as soon as Align called it a " Limited Edition " they may well have shot themselves in the foot . Just because a lot of new 50s are arriving on the market , has this been rushed out to try and compete . I wonder wether they should have just waited for the V2 to be ready . Obviously JMHO and as i said its a lovely looking Heli . Rob .

                Good point,

Imagine bending one of those shine blade grips in 18 months time and not being able to replace it.... not good

TBH the shiny silver parts are going to be the very difficult bits to break so it should be ok (fingers crossed). But on the flip side you got to think people may consider "upgrading" their existing machines so the new parts could become popular? most shops already stock the greeny sport bits the black and blue nsp bits so it shouldn't be too much of an ask to stock these as its a handful of parts.

Interesting to see how it does pan out and whether the parts are "limited" too because you may end up seeing a few converted ones at a fraction of the price of a new kit?

Edit: 11 new parts - http://www.align.com.tw/shop/index.php?cPath=22_72_103 cost about £200 to do?

Just my thoughts.. we'll see what align decide to do

The "kit" is what is limited. Its a NSP bundled with new parts that will be out soon, ie silver head and so on, just like the NSP came with a blue or black head. nothing else is different. there will be 2000 kit bundles then spares will be available

Yeah i would be surprised if parts became scarse really. As said.. there will be people wanting to upgrade their heads etc to LE look too.

Looking forward to seeing one built. Hopefully there will be a few at the champs to look over. Had a close look with Tom at Alan Szabos 700 head which was LE spec and it looked really smart. I think the kits will have a nice quality feel to them which is cool

I hope tou are right , spares may not be an issue , but i still think this is an infill until the V2 comes out . If and i susspect that will be different , i can see a few L.E.s , after a few crashes ending up back as NSPs . I just think anything Kitted as S,E, is likely to have a very limited production run of spares . Rob .

huh? so what about the 450 se? that was around for years. or do you mean LE?

it isnt a v2 and anyone buying one knows that. there is no difference other than the head and canopy.

like I have said, the kit combo is the limited edition here, the parts it uses will be the norm in the future and I wouldnt be surprised if a few of them make it onto the v2
