yes fitting the tank took awhile as it was very very tight in the frames.

Yes it seems like we all had the same issue, I rubbed my frames down and refitted (Even though it is still a bit tight) and it stopped the problem.

I too did this and use a bubbleless clunk, never (touch wood) had a problem to this effect.

Change the fuel line from the crappy Align stuff as mine has fell off twice inside the main tank and once while inverted at 4ft

I use hayes clunk line and an OS bubbleless clunk, I have no problems.

Hayes line will expand after it has been immersed in fuel, so you may have a clunk line that is too long!

I always soak the line for 2 hours before use and then trim to length.

yeah did the soaking, in the tank though so had to re do it. looks the right length now though. you dont still have the packaging for your hayes do you? mine seemed bigger than normal clunk line, it is P/N 249.S then i cannot see the rest as i ruined the packet

                    Yep, I double up too!

Been using the same clunk line in 2 600N's and the 700N with no issue for over a year!

Beats changing them every couple of months.

well yet another day struggling with the 700 its running lean at the bottom but good power in the climb to then go so rich that it starts nodding its head off and is a struggle to get down.
The bottom needle is almost out of its housing and no matter how rich i set the middle needle i just cant get it to run any richer whilst in the hover.
Realy struggling with this 700 and the engine was so nice in both the airskipper and the aurrora. It isn't the fueling else it wouldn't go so rich on the top needle in the climb.
Only thing i can think it is is the regulator but am loathed to adjust that. engine is a ys st 4

                        I feel such a wally.
                        This problem i'm having,
well apparently the big needle is the midrange
and the medium needle is infact the main needle, doh.

Suddenly it all becomes very clear whats going on.
Thanks to jamie cole and raptorite for putting me straight on tuning the ys 91 st
It's a common mistake made by many lol.
Dont make me feel much better though

This will be the 3rd airframe the engines been in.
In fairness I bought the engine second hand
& have never had an instruction book for it.
I guess it was more luck than judgement that it ran so well
in the airskipper & the aurorra
