I have done two sets this week on the 600nsp but like Pete i can get them swapped out now in about 15- 20 mins so not to much hassle.
    Cheers

Well, I did put crash in inverted commas...

I did get away lightly and, in truth, a good lesson learned Brian. I now know that the TT gears are considerably less forgiving than the belt driven tails. And I have ordered up 3 sets so will have some spares (not that I had a choice - they come in sets of 3).

Something occured to me last night, Martin. Do you run dual rate on your 500, or is that 100% as well?

I've always ran 10% expo but never dual rates. You?

I'm running 70% for normal, 100% for idleup, and I've got 40% expo on in both! I found otherwise it was just so twitchy withthe DX7.

Cheers for that Brian. Your question got me to thinking and I just started a poll on the matter (as you may have seen already)

Well, good old Fast Lad have done it again. Ordered my TT gears and 700 fin on Sunday afternoon, standard postage, and they just arrived in my office.

                Thanks fellas!

                Let the rebuild commence!

Rebuild completed but not signed off in the log book. Wanna check the tail servo settings first.

When you kill your first torque tube, cut about 150mm of the best end and use it to push out the bevel gear.
