  • clutch liner?

    im fitting a new clutch liner tonight and noticed that it has a matt surface and a shiny surface.
    Which way round do i fit it or does it not matter?

    I fitted mine dull surface towards the clutch and stuck the shiney side down .. seems to work lol ....

      any tips on fitting it? i heard to use insulation tape on the clutch to hold it in place while glue sets

        make sure you key the surface to be glue with some grit paper and the inside of the bell
        then wrap a couple of layers of insulation tape around your clutch,
        i use a 30 min epoxy ,then push the clutch inside the bell which then pushes the liner firmly to the bell,
        leave there until fully cured

          I don't think it is going to matter. After you have revved up the engine whilst holding the head the liner is going to get polished.

          Have a hot start and it is going to be lovely and shiny. lol.
