600npro Exhaust Rattle............

Went for a fly tonight on third flight could here a rattle from exhaust got home took the exhaust of & could here something drop from one end turn exhaust up the otherway then same again like a loose baffle.
Does this mean new exhaust or can anything be done.

It's done for - baffles have come loose.

If you a whizz with aluminium welding you could open it up, fix the baffle and then weld it shut again.

Or you might want to get another pipe made by Hatori or Curtis Youngblood Enterprises. lol.

What problems have you got?

If your baffle has come loose you may have some vibration problems that are manifesting themselves as parts failure.

some of the earlier align pipes had this issue, had one go on me but was swapped with no hassle for a new one.
What other issues are you having? might be able to help

My Align pipe on my 600 went last week, had it for over 18 months so wasnt too bothered, replaced with a Hatori 522 but to be honest the Hatori is rattly aswel, not a loose kind of rattly, just the note of it. I like the Align pipe, seems to have a little more grunt but hell they are loud!

The other problems are sorted now done a mod to the boom supports after having to replace 3 of the Align ones, Now got Raptor ones on the align ones always snapped on the one rear end alloy part, Had no probs since. The 2in1 little switch bit broke off had to fit new, feels much better when switching. Now with the exhaust my real problems is the more heli's the more cost so I was kinda hopping someone would have a good solution but I have now order a new one.

Yea it does have a dent. (which i said in the ad ) Difference is i put about 800 flights on that pipe after i put the dent in it and i wouldnt sell it if the baffles were loose. Just so people dont think im trying to sell a duff exhaust.

Didn't mean it to sound like that its just my heli still looks very new so would prefer something newish but as noted on previous post I opted for new as I got a good deal from Skyline Models.

You now how it is one problem then another feels as if its all rolled into one.
