some lessons learned from my own:

        - Be prepared for stripped main wheels. Now with Mod1, it's a thing of the past. But with she stock wheel I had many many unplanned autorotations. Once, a fully charged LiPo stripped every single tooth from the main wheel, when I did a heavy-handed flip (both cyclic and collective) immediately after takeoff. Shortest flight ever.
        - When I set up mine, I tripped the overcurrent shutoff in the ESC several times. That didn't happen in vertical climbout, but in straight level flight. The worst thing I can do for overcurrent is pulling into a loop with speed (for some reason, backwards is worst but that must be my flying habits).
        - Secure the three guidance rings for the tail pushrod -very- carefully, so that they can't turn. Probably the tail needs to work a bit harder than on nitro.
        - if yours is as heavy a pig as mine, the QuickUK landing gear might be worth considering (Part QUK-030)
        - Tighten the motor carefully so that it can't slip on the mount. And the screw holes in the Scorpion motor strip quite easily.
oh and did I mention this, X-Era 4035 rocks, with 8 mm shaft.

Im yet to feel the weight of it with batts but its very light at the mo but Im sure with the weight of 2 of those beasts it will be heavy.

I do have a quick UK landing gear for it and will stock up on the mod 1 gears.

          Thanks

I'm sure the mod 1 gears have been for ages, maybe I'm wrong as I still got original ones on the nitro.

Mart it is surprising how much bigger the 720mm blades make it look and i did keep catching them on the sides moving it around and the missus kept shouting at me from the front room saying she could hear me hitting her nice worktops

                  Cant wait

No,but I have some lowly 6s I can double up for at least 2 mins of very gentle flying just to get the maiden in

Well got the maiden today and all I can say is wow and I only took it easy.

Very simple flying just playing around with the settings and getting used to it.

Dialled in some expo and decreased the swash mix a little as it was an animal to start with but got it tamed down to how I like it,gentle but mad when I want it to be.

Will change the gyro as it got a JR 770 on it but I'm a Spartan man and since I have 2 spare then one will go on here and should be a perfect match with the 8900G tail servo.

So anyone want to buy a 8 flight old 770 check the for sale section for a bargain

So glad I got a 700e to pair with the n
