  • T-Rex 700: Linkage Rod "B" length??

What is the correct length for the "B" linkage rod (between flybar cage and washout arms)?
"Read the f*antastic manual". Yea right. Page 6 says "approx 45 mm". On page 8 it's "approx 43" mm. Maybe I'll set one to 45, the other to 43, then I've got both

Currently I'm using 45 mm and everything works fine. But maybe there is a good reson for either - if anybody has thought this through, I'd be interested to hear your conclusion!

as long as you get even throws and everything is at 90degrees at mid stick there wont be a problem , the manual is just a guide , it will get it close but slight adjustment are required to get the final set up

As Davie said, manual then fine tune is the way to go.

To give you an idea of where mine ended up, numbers in brackets are the manual figures minus 5mm for the ball diameter):

Blade grip to mixing arm (28) = 29.32/28.94
      Mixing Arm to Swash (70.5) = 72.58/73.02
      Flybar to washout arm (38) = 41/41
      Aileron leaver to swash (62.2) = 62.7/63

        Thanks!
I have never bothered to tune any other rods than the long ones for blade tracking, but maybe now it's time.
