  • BLS 451 Servo Arms and the T700?

    Hi Guys,

Just fitted the servos out of my Knight in to the T700 I am building last night, but when I was fitting the servo arms I noticed the balls are not the same spacing as the control balls on the heli, they are at 29mm spacing but the servo arm is at about 25mm spacing.

Is anyone running the standard supplied futaba T servo arm with their BLS451? If not, what are you running? I am tempted to re-drill, but would like to avoid that if possible....

    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,

    Jason

I think most are using these Jason

I upgraded mine to he metal Quick UK ones for piece of mind though.

Both are the correct size though.

I have futaba quick UK round arms but they dont fit the spline, the BLS451 has an odd spline (or at least mine do!)

I have fitted up the std T arm for the moment, they seem to move OK with no fowling, but I think there may be a little less throw, should be a problem for running in. I'll take a look at the disc ones.

I have QUK round arms on my BLS451's and they seem fine (got me worried now)

          Hey Jason,

I use the standard align (futaba fitting) wheels on my 451's so the quick uk futaba wheels should be fine. I did fit the standard T arms for a while but as you say, the spacing is all wrong.

Hope you get it sorted soon mate and look forward to seeing it go at the field.

Well I just put 4 tanks through it, really rich at the moment, but the servos seemed fine. I think I will stick with these for a little while while I run it in.

The QUK wheels I have dont fit the BLS but do fit the 5925 etc so I assumed the BLS has a different spline to the normal futaba servos.
              Regards,

I presume that's a typing error as 5925's are a Hitec servo and the horns definitely won't fit Futaba servos!
