Best way to fuel a nitro?

Hi guys

I got in a devil of a mess trying to fill my 600. It came with one of those three way filter thingys but I still made a mess filling it up.

How do you do it? Do you buy any kind of adaptor to put on the end of your fuel pump filler line?

all you need is a fuel clamp before the filter and fill up BEFORE the filter (i.e the tank side of the filter) in the heli. when done fueling just clamp it and remove the fuel filler and nothing will come out. this is how i fill mine, i use a fuel nipple type thing that comes in the box with the pump.

if it is one of the align T filters then all you need is a clamp in same place as above and fill via the T.

Thanks. Do you need some kind of nipple adaptor, or do you just push the end of the fuel tube onto the T adaptor?

No just a bit of fuel tubing on the 'T' with a fuel clamp, a clamp before the carb between the filter and the carb fuel inlet, close this clamp and with the filling nipple in the fuel tube on the 'T' open this clamp, fill and close the clamp, remove the filler tube nipple. Wind your pump backwards to pull the fuel back into the can. Open the clamp between the filter and carb and start

A quick or easyfill is a type of one way valve that you insert a proprietary filling nipple into and it automatically closes the fuel line to the carb and allows you to fill and then disconnect easily.
