Stocking up on glow plugs

Hi guys

I want to hold some spare glow plugs and am seeking advice on which ones to go for.

My engine is the Align 50 that came in my 600NSP kit.

I've searched the forum and seen that people seem to be split on OS No. 8 and Enya No. 3.

Will either of the these two be OK in my engine? I think the Align 50 is a licence-built OS?

Either will be fine, just don't buy an Align plug, they were supposed to be OS no.8's but they aren't and are actually rubbish.

I use OS 8 on my 600 and only ever used 3 so far. I have had the heli just over a year now.

I think that's the most popular choice.
Some new engines had a tendency towards flameout while spooling up or at full throttle. If so, the Enya 3 is slightly hotter and may fix the problem, until the engine is broken in.

OS No:8 have been fine.

I'm sure there has been a bad batch of Enya plugs lately.

Funny that Tim, Ive found the opposite, never really got on with OS 8's. stick with enyas myself

I used Enya No.3's exclusively for years then started using OS no.8's when I got my 50 Hyper and 91 SZ-H. They both run very well on these so I've got a couple of Enya No.3's in my box that I don't use.

On 30 % nitro? Might be predetonation, since it's hotter (just guessing).
I've owned only two of those, can't tell about longevity.

Yep...I have only ever tried an Enya once - last week. Blew it on tank 2 in a brand new OS50.

Sticking to OS8 I think
