Throttle servos have a really tough life, directly connected to a high intensity vibration generator.

I believe Curtis Youngblood uses two throttle arms, one attached to the servo and one attached to the engine, overlapping and joined by fuel tube and a couple of cable ties.

Never done this myself, even though I've had throttle servos fail as well. I used spectrum servos on my 2 Trex 600's now, for three reasons, reasonably fast, cheap, and they seem to accept the conditions without failure, both have been in use for well over a year.

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

Personally speaking I'm using quite a basic non-digital servo for my throttle. Throttle servos do not need to be super quick and the more basic it is the more robust it is to withstand the conditions it's working in.

      That's my theory anyway.
