  • Which servo arms for the 600NSP?

    Hi guys

Just installed all the servos on the 600NSP and am wondering which servo arms you'd recommend to use for all the servo positions?

I seem to have the choice of:

    4 arm
    6 arm
    Wheels

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

Align make a set for JR or Futaba and I think Hitec servos. The holes are drilled in the correct position.

If you are going to use the manufactures part then use wheels as they are the strongest.

+1 on the Align wheels. They took some of the guesswork out for me. The ones for Futaba servos on my 600n needed little or no sub-trim

Thanks guys. I'm using DS610 and 620 so I guess the wheels that come with those will be good?

Comparing the pictures of the wheels here Fast Lad DS620 & Fast Lad Align Wheels they do look to be the same style with recesses for ball-link nuts

Put the wheels on all mine Martin.

You have plenty of options to get the correct angle and dial out any subtrim.

again a vote for the align wheels, playing with the holes you can always get them at 90 degrees, they work really well.
                  All the best

                      Hi Mart

I used the Align wheels on mine and ended up with virtually no sub trim ... They work great.
Good luck with the rest of the build
                      cheers

                          Thanks again guys.

Is it good to use the wheels on the throttle servo (Futaba S3152) too? And would you change the arm on the carb throttle shaft to a wheel?

nope, leave the carb as is, find a arm that has the same lenght from the centre to the hole, if you use the outer hole on the carb, make sure you find a arm that is the same distance, put your thottle at 50/50 and put you carb arm to the mid point, theres little grooves on the end, lowest, thre notches in the middle, and highest, then you want to get the link, 90 dgrees off the servo and 90 degrees off the carb, takes abit of playing with, then your get 100% atv either way, your gov will work abit better then!
