Glow Start Problem

Im now all set up ready to maiden her but I have no elec feed on the wire that clips on glow plug.
I assume you just press ignition start button & that powers the glow the indicater light comes on but I have now power the earth lead is connected.
So help is needed on this if anyone has suggestion.

you getting lights on telling you its glowing or none ??? you wont see n e power to the posi side of the cable on it own .. You need the neg as well connected to the plug to make sure it works ok ... Could be a fault reg as well .... just some thoughts that might help

I've got a spare glow connected the clip then earthed glow switched on ignition no power perhaps I need to activate it in the esc being new to nitro Im not sure.

theres no escape in a nitro ...put the plug in the engine .. turn it on and see if the lights light up when you hit the glow start ..

The LED's light up with lead connected to glow on engine she will not start thats when I tried it with a spare glow.

You will have a battery indicator set of lights and then an extra light that comes on when you press the button. This ignites the glow plug. If my memory serves me correctly then this light wont stay on if a plug isnt connected. If it isnt igniting the glow then it could be faulty. I take it your talking about the Align 2in1 Regulator and glow start here as you dont say???

I had a devil of a time starting my 600n when I first put everything together. I am using the Align 2-in-1 to provide glow power.

What I found was that the earth was not making a good contact. I was getting the correct voltage but insufficient Amps.

I repositioned the earth from the side of the frame screwed into the engine mounting blocks, to directly on top of the mounting lugs on the OS 50 engine itself. I recall I used a slightly longer machine bolt then stated in the manual to allow for the thickness of the ring connector on the earth, but I'm sure I found one in the spares bad that came with the 600n.

The change was like night and day, and other than hydrolocking (when I forgot to clamp the carb fuel feed line as a noob) I've never had a starting problem since then.

Yep 2in1 all lights test ok.

Hi Lee 'solved' ignition is on a timer so when lead is connected you have 30 second to start engine I was taken longer by the time I got starter ready & fuel stop clips released ignition light was out.
I say one thing as this is my first nitro she flys spot on didn't even need to do triming or tracking.
Off to the field tonight bit of luck Boss man let me go early.
