Help neede Align Governor setup

Just setting up an Align gov on a friends heli. Sensor checks out ok, light goes off when it passes the magnet. I`ve got the gain lead plugged into the AUX2 channel and this switches the governor on and off ok. I have calibrated by powering on at low throttle, pressing the set button for 3 seconds (light flashes) then moving to high stick (light goes out then comes on solid green). However, the green light showing the governor is active stays on all the time, even below 30% throttle where the manual states it should cut-off. The only way I can turn the gov. off is by switching the AUX 2 channel off. I tried the setup in normal mode using a 0 - 50 - 100 curve. Is this normal for the Align governor. Cheers.

the green light just means you on mate, red light means your off, it wont kick in till your over 30% stick
