    Thanks Guys.

My camera is not quite in the same league as Tims (even if he does shoot Canon)

However, it's not too shabby. I have one of these:

With one of these stuck to the front:

and one of these stuck to the bottom:

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

Thanks Ray. It's not cheap, let's put it that way...

As far as finding a nice set-up, forgive me for asking this but have you any idea on your budget? By knowing that I'm sure that, between Tim, myself and Eddie, we could point you in the right direction.

Thanks Martin.....only want to spend about £500

Rather that hijack your build thread maybe i'll start another 'off topic' thread to expolore options

                    looking good Martin.

When I got my 500 I moved the rubber bits on the rear part of the skid inside the main landing gear that way they can't slide off, because they do move around abit as you probably know.

Are you planning on getting 7ch radio as the NSP combo comes with a govenor doesn't it ?

just curious as I am going to fly my raptor without a govenor to start with to try and get a good basic set up.

I'm gonna fly with my DX6i for a while but I did install the governor magnets into the fan in readiness for going 7.

The Revlock 10 (and presumably later versions) can run simply off of the normal throttle channel, so should work fine with a 6 channel radio.

I would think he will be better off getting the normal DX7 - it can then also be used on the simulator meaning he can sell on his existing Tx if needed?
My main Tx is the DX7SE but there is no benefit to using it on helicopters with 7 channel receivers as they cannot make use of the increased resolution.

                            Cheers,

Just done a little more - installed the control shaft and servos:

                              Here's me doing the paperwork!

Marched on again today. Have installed all the servo wheels and linkages, set up the servos for direction and built and installed the tail boom.
