As far as actually building the heli (forgetting about off-heli stuff like fuel pump, starter etc), I think the only thing I need is a receiver.

Finished the build of my 600 sport last night. The new kits even have an extra hole in the boom and a cap head to pin the tail at the boom block!! I was well happy with that lol!

I bought the NSP kit which came with all that lot, Rob.

I'm gonna use my DX6i initially (so won't be fitting the governor). However I will get an AR7000 receiver such that, when I go DX7 (or whatever) I will be ready.

A quick tip. I found it easier to mount the servos in the frame before I put the frames together. This allowed me tidy-up the wiring quite a bit. Use a fuel tubing as a insulator to prevent chafing whenever you cable tie any wiring to the frame.

Another great tip is use the mainshaft to locate the alignment of the main bearings as you tightening up the bearing blocks. Make sure the shaft moves freely.

Anyone noticed the geometry of the aileron/pitch/elevator bellcranks id off when using Align servos?

I am tempted to put the balls on the opposite side to what they should be.
