  • What gyro??

I need to get another gyro as I took the 401 off my 500 and used it on my 600. The question I wanna ask what gyro would you get as I want to keep the 401 on my 500 so I was thinking of a sparten 760 what do you guys suggest??
    Regards

Well, and I'm quoting parrot fashion here (my 600 is still in kit form). Most are recommending that I get the Align GP750 and DS620 combo.

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

if money is a bit tight then the 750 is a good choice. if you can afford the little extra then the features and performance of the other ones will be of great benefit i'd say.

the current top guns would be the Spartan 760, CSM 720, CYE solid g and maybe the gy520 can be put in that bracket but i would exclude it myself from what i'm hearing.

        cheers

I just like the idea of the sparten as it's updatable so it should never go out of date!!

I am not one for the lastest fad on elec equipment etc etc so never even considered a spartan when they came out and stuck with my 611's, then i flew my mates aurora with a spartan on a couple of weeks ago, lets just say i went on evorc's website when i came home and ordered one up, superb gyro and tested my aurora the weekend and was superb so i would 100% recomend, also the GP750 is also very good, got one on my 700 and is as good as the spartan almost

You know I had a 401 on my 700 and it held fine so it will do a 600 until you can get better.

While your not working you lazy sod,(I think you injured yourself on purpose lol) keep your 401 on it then get the Spartan if that is the way you go.

Plus your practicing for your A so why get anything better when the 401 will do the job while doing this no probs at all

I have gone for Align GP750 and DS620 combo for my Blade400 after pondering over it for 2 weeks. Lots of good reports I have read in RCheliaddic. Key in "gyro" in our search menu - see it for yourself .. may help you to make an informed decision.

CSM 720. Its all the gyro you will ever need.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

                          And a DX8 too

The 401 will be plenty for getting the A sorted after that then when you have the cash move on to something else like the Spartan. (which is all im using at the moment)
                            All the best
                            Tony.

JR 770 holds the tail on my 600 as solid as a rock! That said I'm going to give the CSM SL720 a try on my gasser as I'm told they're good as well.
