  • Which fuel tube?

    Hi guys

I want to buy some new fuel tube for my 600 build (I heard the Align stuff splits?).

Which diameter do I need to buy? I see Fast Lad has 4 & 5mm.

I also want to use it to put around my canopy edges on both the 500 and 600. Where can I get coloured stuff? Pink might be nice.

I picked up a selection of bright coloured fuel line at a show a year or 2 back... I seem to remember it was from a fuel supplier although not sure who.

I have seen a few 600NSP's with split fuel line around the edge of the canopy - what is this all about then?

I saw it on several of the helis at the field this morning. It's possibly a love it or hate it kind of thing. But, for me, I quite like it and I think it may help protect the edges of the canopy and your fingers if you're rooting around inside.

      Here's a closer shot:

PINK is the only colour you need
forget the size as long as it's Pink

for the internal diameter measure the size of the tank, carb and exhaust nipple as if its to big on the id the tube will either fall off, leak or draw in air (causing engine set up problems)

and remember it has to be pink

        but not on my heli

Indeed, I saw it (at the same) field last weekend - sadly did not make it up there today (or I might have finally bumped into you)

I will try to dig some out and if I find some I will let you know what I have.

Personally I don't use the high viz colours for fuel as I so like to be able to see the fuel in the pipe...

Bought a couple of metres of 'PINK' fuel tubing from Fast Lads (small dia), it was a quid per metre, looks good!!
