    I have to admit its been in there since I built the heli about a year ago so its lasted well. Overall I have no complaints with fuel magnets. I just should have changed it sooner as I have a pack of spare foams in the flightbox.

        fuel magnets should only be run on crank case pressured engines, not an exhaust pressure based system for the exact reasons youve found. either that or like you said, change them more regularly.
