  • Penny dropping moment.

Since my first flight with the T600n, it's always proven a bugger to start & run at idle. I have my throttle trim set to 40% because of this.
I've always put it down to the fact that I don't fly it every week.

Today, while giving it a check over, the penny dropped that I have not altered the mixture control screw. I've re-read the manual & I intend on sorting that out tomorrow. Needs leaning out a a tad I think.

How many of you have had to alter this screw to get your heli to run sweet at idle. Just want to know if it's a normal setup requirement.
You can teach a man everything. Apart from experience.

Yes. Had to tweak mine a little. About an eight of a turn in to lean it up.

just move it a little at atime till youre idle is stable , try moving it a little then spool it up to clear the oil and see how it idles , a tip to starting is to blead the fuel to the carb first aply your starter and turn your engine over without the glow strart on if the fuel dont move to the carb put your finger over the exhaust and jab your starter once or twice watching the fuel once it gets to the carb start your heli as you nomaly do should start a lot easy'er
