    Beautiful helicopter.

Just looks odd with the 35mhz aerial on there.

I know I was really worried about not having 2.4GB but I just acnt afford it at the moment and we ahvent had any issues with nitro helis or planks ate our field on 35mhz.

Next big purchase will be Futaba FF7 2.4gb and 3x Align 610 servos for the cyclic.

Very nice. Will be that bit nicer once you switch to 2.4.

Got one for Xmas and have a few more flights on her now - excellent heli. Still running slightly rich but there is stacks of power and really crisp and agile.

          You will enjoy!!!

            Drewbags,

I have had about 7 tanks through the engine now and the engine is running very well.

I havent had the nerve to fly it about yet although I would have on sunday if the wind wasn't so strong I managed a couple of side on hovers.

It feels very steady even in the wind the only issue is the tail seems a little odd I ahve the gainon the GY401 set to 30% on the Fc7 and it still feels a little twitchy I thought it was the vibation from the engine when it was running very rich but the engine is sweet now?

How far out should be link be on the tail servo (9254)?

I have mine on the + futaba arm 3rd hole out?

Hi Nic..looks good. Dont want you to lose a pretty model like that though. One thing I'm seeing. The aerial tube is currently not supported and will be exerting pressure on the weakest part of the aerial where it exits the RX. Even worse when its running it will be tugging and durling about.

What I used to do was sellotape the fuel tubing to the RX case or some other ingenious method so there is absolutely no side loading/flexing and the aerial where it exits the RX. That way it only has to support its own weight for a short distance.

              cheers Brian
