The hot pink is growing on me, might get some lycra shorts in that colour for summer flying
Not exactly back, I've always been on the "Light Side" with helis

What do people use to clean off the horrible glo fuel residue after a days flying?
I did wipe it down with a cloth but that just seems to smear the cheg everywhere!
Any 'helis safe' cleaning solutions out there?
I used to use window cleaning stuff to get bug splats off the blades on my leccies but that was the only cleaning they needed!

Don't worry that picture will come soon enough

For now heres some pictures of it in flight from Sundays initial tanks

Flew another couple of tanks today
Starting the get the hang of this Nitro malarky, today I managed not to pump fuel all over the shop when re-fuelling the tank
Now I just have to figure out why the engine seems to be dripping in fuel, think I will pull it out tonight and re-check all the engine bolts and make sure nothing has come undone.

                      Looking good mate

Think you might have needed a few more layers though mate

Glad to hear the picture will arrive soon just to keep up with all things traditional

                        Is "The Picture" canopy related?

Was cylinder head dripping in fuel? Nasty, yukky 2 stroke engines - It gets blown out of the carb and stops the heli staying nice and clean
                        Cheers, Lee.

Yes but please keep all comment clean until the picture is posted

This is a tradition that dates back to the Ikarus days when Nobrot Grutjens got his knickers in a right old twist and asked many of the Old Boys to bugger off which we duly did to The Spot and then on to here

It might be, it might be...

Yes it was the cylinder head dripping in fuel. I did wonder if maybe it was spat back out the carb. Oh well I'm just going to have to get used to cleaning the heli after every trip to the field, cant be doing with this smelly gunk everywhere, makes working on the heli a messy business
