Did manage to get out today, wasn't that nice and only managed a couple of flights
Only plus was did my first proper ciaos today on the vision, wasn't very sustained and only lasted about 2 seconds but i was happy

A lot of work and time spent on the bench today with a bit of a rushed flying session and i'm shattered

I just use Radix on everything.... never used anything else on any of my helis!!

Advantages:

• I don't know any different so wont miss another blade.
• They are widely considered to be one of (if not) the best for all round application.
• They look the bollox
• All my helis match
• Quality of construction

I am knackered also, and my newe charger has packed up, so i have just put everything away and worry about it tomorrow.

Joking aside... my helis are behaving badly at the mo so the bling loving thing is saving them from a fate on the classifieds!!

Blades and shiny bits are the least of my worries with the NSP electrics playing up and the Aurora proving a bit of a pig to set up.

Just want to get everything up together for some serious stick time this summer

Yeh you were lucky with the nsp mate, the elecs packed up just after landing, could of been a whole lot worst.
We will get the aurora running right mate, it just needs a tweek here, fiddle there etc etc, the links just need sorting, maybe lean the engine a little should cure the vibes.
Then all we need to do is sort the rev lock and spartan

See my thread on the NSP... its fine now ive cleaned it down... like a dodgt connection but i cant find the fault.. might just change it to be safe, we will see.

We won't count today as a maiden... more of a spool up to test the clutch alignment

I will tidy everyhing up.... full check over and we will start a fresh

It worked mate and flew, just needs so tweeks, i think the gyro is fine, rev lock i think just needs reconnecting again, get that engine run in and all will be fine, give it a full check over to and make sure nothing is loose and we will try again on friday.

Engine tuning issues will show up as vibration on the tail mate, maybe that's what you're seeing?

Rich engines are a pain and can cause issues mate, remember mine was second hand so i wasn't in the same boat as you.
It had been a long weekend let alone day mate, working on it all friday and then again from 10am yesterday to try to get it up and running, but now a case of getting it sorted for next weekend, links are priority 1, servo horns i will see if adie has any in stock today and get him to put some back for you if you like, get the revlock reconnected and it should all be done mate
