I just picked up some Radix 690's to try. Currently using Align 690D's (which I really like). Does anyone know how the Radix fly vs the Aligns before I find out for myself? My 700 just won't bog with my set-up and the Aligns. I'm hoping for the same of the radix even though they have a slightly wider chord.

If it doesn't bog on the aligns, it won't on the radix mate running mine on the radix at the moment also, not as poppy as the aligns but very nice and accurate, still can't fault the aligns though, wanted to try others as wellJames

Have you tried both James? I'm running +/- 12 pitch and 8 degrees cyclic on the 700 with the YS and it's a total beast. Great performance with the Align D's. I'm hoping the Radix improve accuracy without bogging. (They look better too!!!)Originally posted by moonmanflyer View PostIf it doesn't bog on the aligns, it won't on the radix mate running mine on the radix at the moment also, not as poppy as the aligns but very nice and accurate, still can't fault the aligns though, wanted to try others as well

Yep tried both, aligns are half way between v's and radix i would say, i swapped to radix due to the consistancy issues i had with the old os i had to try to make it more forgiving, but have left them on there as i like them.Originally posted by t-rex pedro View PostHave you tried both James? I just use Radix on everything.... never used anything else on any of my helis!!

Advantages:
- I don't know any different so wont miss another blade.
- They are widely considered to be one of (if not) the best for all round application.
- They look the bollox

- All my helis match

- Quality of construction

Torsion 690mm blades for me, the best 90 size blades I've flown and that's from a large selection

Managed a few tanks through the 700 today with the Radix 690's fitted. Verdict - fantastic! Tracked perfectly out of the box, brilliantly accurate and felt very locked in with loads of 'pop'! Once I had re-tuned the motor the Radix didnt bog the head at all and I could tic-toc for as long as I wanted. Auto performance is fantastic as the heli just floated down with ease (possibly due to the wider chord). To date I have tried Align 690 D's, Torsion 710's and Radix 690's. The Radix blades win hands down.
