Well after crashing and repairing my 600 nsp I managed to fix a niggle I had with it all along.
From new I noticed that there was a very slight "wobble" I could just about see on the head button as the head spooled up/down. I'd pondered this point at length and ended up deciding I was just being too fussy and it must have been manufacturing tolerances. (First kit build so no real experience here!)
Anyway I finally got rid of the wobble, what caused it? Over tightening of the top jesus bolt! When re-assembling I spun up the head by hand and the wobble is gone if I don't tighten up the top jesus bolt too much!
I guess this bolt doesn't need to be super tight. After all carries all loads in "sheer". The nut on the end is just to stop it flying off!
There is no detectable "play" in the head with this bolt not tightened up as much used to have it! So I guess it's all good?
Cheers
Rob
