  • Phoenix settings for 600 Sport

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I did try searching the forums first, but can anyone help with the best settings on Phoenix for a 600 Sport. I already have one model in the memory named 'Phoenix' which I use for the Blade 400 & one called TRex600 for my actual T Rex heli. Do I set up another model in the memory and if so what settings would I be best to use?
    Thanks, any advice gratefully received.

Best to set up a model memory specifically for the Sim. if you want to make a change, you can do it in the tx without risk of adverse effects on your real model. You can also alter perameters within the sim on any helicopter and not really need to make too many changes ro the tx.

i also have a model called sim600 for my 600 sport

these are my sim settings and what i fly my real 600 on, i use a FF9 transmitter

the only problem is cant remeber what the pitch curve is actually on the helicopter as Dave fisher set it up for me but its roughly -4 to 9.0 on normal curve and for sim only swh1 setting instead of sr 3

      -6 to 9.0 on idle up 1
-9 to +9 on idle up 2 i think could be wrong

sounds like you have the elv channel reversed(sim model only dont do it for the real one!!!!)

Create a sim only model in your tx... Thats what I've done... No CCPM mixing for the sim....

I then increase the "vortex lift loss" for the trex600 (IN THE SIM) to make it feel a little more realistic when hovering about.... (I'm on 35% at the moment for vortex lift loss....)

gramey if your 600 is up and flying just use the same settings. the only difference you need is the swash menu set to normal 1 servo. try and spool the heli on phoenix till its light on the skids and tip the rotor disc to ascertain whether it all works correctly. if channels need reversing do it in phoenix click system, then your controls, then your tx type, then edit . phoenix will then make a copy of your settings and allow you to edit them. either place or remove a cross in the invert box as needed

I found I had to reverse the collective in the latest version of Phoenix on the Blade 400 model. Never had to do this on any previous version...

A good starting point for hovering around with the 600 is to drop the Hovering stability to 95% and alter the weather settings as follows..from left to right as reading a book try these. top row 2.4, 0, 40%, 32%, 0%. Bottom row 1.4, 0, 44%, 39%, 0

                    hope that helps Brian

Thanks for all the help guy's, I've got it sorted now, had the swash on ccpm so changed that (on the sim memory only) and re-calibrated the TX and all is good.
