Well, I've got one guy at Sutton learning on a Freya Evo 91 and there have been a few at Himbleton learning on Freya's and even X-Cell Fury's so I'm sure we could get a 700 set up just right for you

Oh don't Steve I'm really really trying to be sensible. Might offload a heli or two. If I do I'll be seriously tempted.

Must go before I do something silly..............

That 600 canopy is beautiful Ash but looking at that Youtube video eek!!!

If he was prodding my canopy like that he would need a dentist..

yeah, they certainly give it a right old bending. Good to know it can take it though.

i have a knackered 700 stock canopy i will try the same with as in all honesty, i don't think this funsuno is a patch on the align one in terms of paint quality. looking at both of them they appear to be very similar in terms of thickness/materials. i'm curious to see if the align canopy snaps when i try what they do in that video, my bet is it won't and will be exactly the same.

however, it is 18 quid less and thats good enough for me. if i want a really good canopy it wouldn't be the align one so i'll happily save the 18 quid in a crash.

              cheers

I think they did a better job on the laquer with the Align canopy but you have to get up pretty close to see that, but as you say at £18 cheaper you can't argue with that.

Just a quick update on this thread.

My Fusuno canopy arrived this morning and will give my plus and minus points now.

                  Price = Excellent

                  Delivery time = Excellent

Paint job = Pretty good but does not match the genuine Align or the three canomod canopies I have bought.

Pretty poor that they don't come with canopy mounting holes pre drilled or even a marker as a guide.

Very close fit to the Hatori 939 pipe, Infact so close I have put a hologram sticker on it to prevent it burning hopefully.

Very sleek and narrow and not wide and bulky..

All in all very good value for the money and the quotes above are not relative really but just some pointers for others.

                  Some pictures of it fitted.

looking good Tim. If you look closely at the canopy you can see some little indents where the mount holes should go, so thankfully drilling is not too big a deal. I think on the very latest canopies they are now pre-drilling them, so you must have got one of the earlier non drilled ones.

my canopy wasn't drilled either. i cut a bit out of the canopy as i don't want paint burnt onto my hatori. too close for comfort.

you know, i hate the look of these canopies even though i bought one.......32 quid for a painted FG canopy....i'll say that again....32 quid for a PAINTED FG canopy, amazing value.

                        cheers

hates a strong word, I really like the look of it...... but whether you like a certain paint job or not is a very personal thing. If we all liked the same it would be pretty boring
But as you say, difficult to argue with £32 for a painted FG canopy.
