Flying with glow stick attached

Today I did a "full on" session with my 700, with the glow stick still attached!

I threw everything at it, piro flips, inverted flight etc. only noticed after I landed. Lucky or what?! I imagine that it going through the bades woud make a right mess !

Anyone else done the same ? I am new to nitro, so I think its one of those things you have to check before take off (like setting the timer for lipo heli). The handle is bright red, so you think I would have noticed !

I almost did the same for one of my rounds at 3D Champs!!
I started the heli, put the canopy on and was getting up to walk out when the shouts came from the pits

Can't believe I have just spent about 5 minutes trying to look for a glow stick that people use in nightclubs haha.

I have done this a couple of times on a plank where the remote glow was mounted under the fuse! Doh!

By using the glow wand, you will over advance the timing of the engine, it might be worth checking the top of the piston to make sure you haven't had any detonation while flying hard!
