  • Align Servos on T-Rex 600

Hi, has anyone used the Align DS610 servos ? Just bought a 600 super pro and I am thinking of putting these on the cyclics. Fastlad are doing them for £37.00 each, they seem like a good servo for the money. Thanks.

I'm using them on my 700 - no problems so far, very fast and accurate servos.

    Cheers,

Quick reviews don't offer much to be fair - the servos work well, they are strong, accurate and fast. What's needed now is to hear from someone who's put 500 flights on them and to know they are still that good...

I'm ragging them pretty hard and they are fine... so far.
            Time will tell
            Cheers,

i bought one to try in my buggy and compared to my thunder tiger ace servo' the align servo is very noisy.maybe they forgot to add the sound deadening material to it

My servos are still working perfectly, however, the plastic cases appear to be more brittle than, for example, Futaba cases.
I removed servos from my heli last night and two out of three of them had one servo lug broken off.
I don't over-tighten servos when mounting them (none of my Futaba servos have this problem) - so this could be something to watch for...

The good thing here is the servo case tops and bottoms (excludes the heatsink middle part) are only a few quid each.

At least they work well - so far

                  Cheers,

So far, 5 flights on my new 600e I'm very happy.

                    Align 610 and 620 here.

They seem to be a very nice servo at a decent price.

                    Only time will tell.

Yes I think you might be right there -I had a pretty minor crash (no visual damage to main blades, but they did touch the ground) and all 3 of my Align servos cases (these were actually the smaller DS10's) broke at both sides around the mounting holes.

I have 4 of them on my 700. I did have the throttle one fail after 14 flights. I believe a magnet came lose in the servo motor. Otherwise fine. I will keep an eye on the servo lugs though.

Just put 610's on cyclics and a 620 on throttle on my 600NSP and I am very impressed with them. Just hope they last.
