in total i shimmed mine by 3.4mm using vario shims but any make will do
i made my own blade holder stand off's from some old hirobo frame spacers and a quick uk ball

I got mine from here but looks like they are sold out at the moment. Only took 4 days to arrive and are a great fit. Just took 1mm off the bottom to get them the right length

            http://www.ronlund.com/Merchant2/mer...ct_Code=MA0133

sorry they are MA0133, (typo in my first post).

              Motors and rotors

i use them on my MA helis, but be warned chaps they are gonna double the value of ur 700n !!! my 700 should arrive in the next few days so will be paying alot of attention to this link thing. lucky i have plenty of MA links to play with off the top of my head i think it was £4.25 for 2 plus p+p the last time i got some... (may have been 4). the packet is about 3 meters away so too far to look.

nothing listed under that part number, so you will have to call them.
I'm betting they will not have much stock and are in for a shock today...

i've had my 700 fly this afternoon
the 600 cage works well (no difference from the 700 one) and my blade holder mod works well,
my blade holder stand off's are now slightly longer than before but has made no difference to the flight performance
my 700 is now align link free

Thre blade grip stand off length is known as delta offset.
With trailing grip arms the movement of the spindle in the dampers (and bending of the spindle) work to enhance the pitch inputs.
The delta offset is, in theory, more significant in cyclic input than collective input.
Imagine that the spindle managed to move to an angle in the head block with the cyclic input (which it will a little). With trailing grips that are not on the main shaft centreline the rising blade will get more positive pitch.
Extend the ball post to put it closer the the main shaft centreline and this effect is reduced.

So you may notice some effect in the cyclic response, but it may be so slight you wouldn't see it unless you flew the two setups back to back.
