ReactorX regulator by Scott Gray is the one I'd go for. Is switchable between 6 and 6.8 volts for the cyclics and constant 4.8 for gyro and tail servo. Some regulators like the Kiwi and new Spectrum Rx/Reg/limiter pump out 8v but its unregulated. Not good for the servos and will kill a lipo in short order. The ReactorX will give you plenty fast speed using 8915's at 6.8v and will still be covered by warranty.

Saying that, I use the Align reg on my 600's at the moment with 8915's and although many people will tell you otherwise I've found them great.

I am using the ReactorX regulator on mine with 8915s.
It will supply the RX with 5V and your cyclics with 6V or VBUS.
Super high current for those hungry servos.
Many do use the Align regulator without issue though the switch design leaves alot to be desired.
      Adrian.

I am pretty sure, although i may be corrected, the Align reg switch is fail on.Trouble is any electronics can fail without a reason which is always going to be the weak link so i think all anyone can do is go with what they feel is best for them.

I have an Arizona reg sat in the cupboard not being used as i am pretty sure it says 5 amp constant as opposed to the Align regs 6 amp constant. If any one of my 7 Align regs ever fail they will all be off and replaced, until then they stay on the models.

i use a perfect regulator from an advertiser on here http://www.perfectregulator.info/. i was very sceptical about them basically because of the price but the specs are brilliant so i bought one. was about 30 quid all in to the door from USA in 4 days. what can i say, brilliant unit. very light and the current version you have 4.8v to rudder and 6.2 to other servos. it is rated at 10 amps constant and 16 max.

they also have a 5-8.5v adjustable one coming out that can work with a 3s lipo if you desire. the gyro again gets 5v or so if you can wait on it coming. if your in a hurry i wouldn't hesitate getting one of the current ones. i'm going to swap my arizonas for them.

          cheers

I have a 4200mAh in my 700 and can get 1 1/2 gallons of flying in no problem without a charge and that's running 8v with my 8915's on the cyclic..

The revos all use the jst plugs which Mike uses on the Cellpro's. so connecting them to other chargers can beinteresting unless you change the balance connector.
                          All the best
