  • First flight of T-Rex 700 - WOW

I had the firts flight of my new T-Rex 700 today. It's the first time that I have flown a 90 size heli. I can only describe it as absolutely awesome! The climb out power is phenominal compared to my 600's. It is extremely stable in flight but with plenty of cyclic response. Flips are an absolute doddle and I was amazed how little negative pitch you need to do a very tidy flip.

Can't wait until next weekend now to fly it again! My 600's are going to be redundant. I'm still grinning from ear to ear!!! I'm definately a 90 size fan now.

I really love mine too,it is indeed an awesome model.

I was ragging mine big time today and loved it,also a fellow club member crashed his flying inverted at speed nose down into the ground and the damage was very light, after a very close inspection it was only cracked canopy, main mast,1 blade and a couple of links pretty unbelieveable really.

Oh and a main gear was a bit stripped but thats all.Feathering shaft was straight,so was boom/tt and tail drive gears undamaged.frames and skids were fine, all radio tray and electronics were fine.

i dont have one but have to agree its a fantastic heli!! after witnessing todays crash (which would have obliterated any other heli) i was amazed how little damage it sustained. it went in upside down nose first at full chat!!!

Tin Tin sure likes his 700, tried to convert him to an xtreme 90 it's like trying to seperate him from Snowy.

700 looks great and flys fantastic great day at the field today no wind good conditions and some great mates at Ribble Valley Model Heli Club (RVMHC). The 700 out performed the couple of xtreme 50's.

I love my 700, tend to fly it more than the 600 and the power is amazing.
